The A.G.M. held on Tuesday, 23rd September; 2006 and the Annual Feast held on Saturday, 30th September marked the end of the 2005/06 season and we are now planning for the 2006/07 year.
The team have a new Squire (Alex Hislop) and Bagman (Mark Sheridan). Alex is the youngest ever serving Squire of Wath and happened to take over from the oldest serving Squire!
We are beginning to put together a programme of events and dance-outs and these are posted, or will be posted as we go along, in the Calendar of Events on the Bookings page.
The Fire Festival in December, the Boxing Day tour and the May Weekend will form the skeleton of the programme which will have regular Tuesday evening dance-outs from May onwards. We will again be dancing the Border tradition during the winter (October to April) and Bledington in the Summer (May until September). Last year the team began to learn some Rapper dancing and did eventually manage a dance out in Thorpe - so hopefully we will be able to enjoy more this year.
