Due to the unforeseen closure of the Old Moor Tavern it has been necessary to change the venue of the annual Birthday Bash to The George and Dragon in Mexborough. The evening will still be on Saturday 26th April 2008 with a 7.00 for 7.30pm start.

January 23rd sees the first dance out of 2008 when Wath travel to join White Rose Morris Men at Huddersfield Railway Station at approx 8.30 pm. This is now a regular event in the team’s calendar when a good night is guaranteed in front of a real live fire like we all remember.
The two mumming tours, in Wentworth and Wath, raised a total of £355.00 from the collections. This money is to be divided equally between Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Swinton Lock Centre. Cheques will be officially presented to representatives of each organization as part of the Boxing Day tour.
